Hello, there.
I am a dynamic creative director, strategist, storyteller, and arts expert with 15+ years of experience building globally beloved and successful brands via holistic design, compelling content, and innovative experiences.
My editorial design roots taught me how to create iconic, trusted brand identities that constantly evolve and delight while staying true to their core character. The world of journalism also made me an expert in telling stories—and making stories worth telling.
My experience at agencies and in-house corporate design and innovation teams built my chops in strategy, communications, marketing, physical design, and ethical sourcing. Through design, writing, programs, and activations, I weave brand experiences that invite more engagement for more people.
I am a leader in the arts. Over the past 12 years, I built a uniquely public global art program for Starbucks that spanned the globe, touched many parts of the business, and directly benefited artists. I have a penchant for urban planning and am passionate about supporting the creative economy sector because it generates significant economic and social benefits for communities, so I serve on the boards of arts and neighborhood organizations.
I am a connector of people. I cultivate an extensive global talent network and nurture high-performing, happy teams who deliver polished work that inspires people, creates connections, and builds communities.
I am a big ideas thinker. I am professionally curious, optimistic, and empathetic. I connect dots, dream of bright futures, and synthesize emerging cultural and generational trends.
I studied at Rhode Island School of Design and grew up in Juneau, Alaska. I worked in New York City for many years and currently live with my sweetheart, Derek, in Seattle. I love to travel and am always up for a new adventure and a new friend. Feel free to get in touch.
